Daily Goodie Box

I was approached by Daily Goodie Box to receive one of their boxes for free in exchange for my review. I had heard of them before now but had never signed up for one. All of their boxes are 100% FREE to everyone but they send them to you based off of some of your profile and household questions. They want to make sure boxes fit your lifestyle so everyone can get one and everyone can get stuff they like.

My box arrived neatly and beautifully packed. A lot of care and thought went into the shipping and appearance of the packaging. Shipping was moderately fast from the time they said they would send me one. Around 2 weeks which is normal for freebie stuff.

I was pleasantly surprised with all of the stuff I got!
From left to right:
Let me just say, all of the food was DELICIOUS! Even though I slightly cheated on my new healthy diet with it, I don't regret it!!! My one year old daughter uses the Jack N' Jill Natural Toothpaste and enjoys the taste of it. I love how it contains no fluoride. My favorite thing in the box was a toss up between the Aloha Daily Good Greens (because I actually drink their protein shakes!) and the Vermont Smoke & Cure Cracked Pepper Beef & Pork Sticks. My least favorite was the Dream Water Sleep Powder. I did not like the weird taste of it and I don't think it made a difference. It didn't taste horrible but it had a little Alka Seltzer quality to it. It is all natural though and contains Melatonin which is wonderful.

I gave this box a 4 star because it came with so much stuff for free and most of it was useful and/or delicious but there was some stuff in the box I didn't care to much for. I would love if they gave a coupon for all the products and not just a few of them.

Allure Beauty Box

I am not a subscriber to the Allure Beauty Box but I got one for FREE last month because I am a member of Allure Beauty Enthusiasts.

So I was super excited to get one because money has been tight around here with Christmas and birthdays. This is my first ever Allure Beauty Box but I have been eyeballing them for MONTHS because I heard so many great things about them!

What makes them so different than other beauty subscription box services is the DELUXE samples. Not the itty bitty, get a taste for it samples, but real size samples of premium and up and coming brands. The box features a variety of categories such as skin care, hair care, and makeup.

I have yet to try all the samples in the box because I have been sick this past month with an upper respiratory infection and sinus infection so forgive me for not having a thorough review.

The products I have used in the box are:

Other items in the box include:

Let me start off by saying, this box smells AMAZING when you first open it. I seriously just wanted to sniff it all day long. It also comes with a handy book that tells you all about the products inside, ingredients, the retail price, and where to buy it. These products are all hand picked exclusively by editors of Allure Magazine!

Guess what?! It only costs $15 a month!!! Cue the heavenly music! Plus, you can save $5 on your first month. It use to be way more expensive but you really can't beat this deal now. All of their boxes are usually worth $75 or more!

My Review of the Products I Used

So I was so excited about the dry shampoo mainly because I never really experiment with other brands that I have always used. It came at such a perfect time because I was so sick I didn't even want to get out of bed to take a shower! This stuff smells amazing and will not choke you up when you spray it in a small space like a bathroom or small bedroom. Trust me guys, that can be a real deal breaker for me because my boyfriend HATES it! It worked pretty instantly and also provided long lasting results even while tossing and turning on my pillow all day. BONUS: It made my pillow smell great! Was not sticky and also provided a little volume oomph to my hair.

The mascara is pretty good. I loved the bold black it gave my lashes and it didn't clump. It provided great lengthening of my lashes. The downfall to it was that it's not waterproof...WAH WAH! Some people don't care but I have allergies, and on top of being sick, my eyes were watering all the damn time! It wasn't running horribly but enough to annoy me, have to touch it up, and some little flakes were present. A good mascara for when you are just our running brief errands to the grocery store or taking the kids to school...not recommended for a night out or long day at work.

The deep conditioning mask was pretty good. I loved the way it smelled and how it made my hair feel while wet and after drying. You could really feel the moisture locked in while it was wet and after drying my hair was super soft and not frizzy. Frizz is my number one ENEMY with this weird flat, wavy hair thing I have going on. I expected it to be a little thicker coming out of the tube but hey it got the job done and it didn't weigh my hair down or make it greasy later into the night. Actually, for once my hair was not greasy the next morning. Perfect for the dry winter conditions going on right now and I feel like you can use this more than once a week if you really wanted to.

I am so happy I finally got to try this box guys! For real go check out the box, join Allure Beauty Enthusiasts using the above link (it's free) for goodies and more, and please, please check out these products. The links to purchase them are above. Walmart Baby Welcome Box

The first time I ordered one of these was back in November 2015. It was a month before Lilly was born. This is a the most recent one they sent me and while I like all the products they sent I am kind of pissed off that they are more for newborns.

When you pay $5 to get a Walmart Baby Box they are suppose to send you one for a newborn, than an infant one, and then a toddler one.

I already got the newborn one. That actually took about 4 months to get and she was already to big for some of the stuff they sent. I still used all the bath and body stuff though. This time I was expecting them to deliver on time since they had enough heads up. I was sad to find out I got another Newborn box when she literally just turned one a few days ago!

Yes, for $5 they send you some nice samples and coupons but I would rather go to Target or Babies R Us and get their free baby registry packs then pay $5 for the small amount they give you in this. Even Amazon's Baby Registry Welcome Box you pay $10 for is WAY better than this!!!

For as much money Walmart makes and you having to actually pay money for this you would think you would get some good stuff. Especially when your competitors are offering the same thing for FREE and with a ton more stuff including full sized products!

Epic fail Walmart!

Women's Fashion Casual Wrist Watch Vintage Weave Wrap Rivet Leather Bracelet

This actually turned out way better than I thought it would. Yes this is all one piece. You wrap it around your wrist and it comes with 3 adjustable snap buttons.

On my wrist, I was actually on the last snap button. I wouldn't say my wrists are thick but they aren't skinny so it may be too small for some people out there.

I love how there were a variety of amazing colors to choose from...6 in fact!

The watch does work and it's super easy to adjust the time on it with a side dial. It does not slip all over the place or dangle to where it can snag on something. It is not that bulky either and lays pretty flat against the skin.

I do not like the long and obvious snap buckle though. It is one solid piece and very hard to hide and makes it look a little tacky. The shipping also took a very long time but they do state on their site 14-35 days in shipping time.

Very affordable and the perfect accessory to wear out to lunch, a casual event, to work, or just because.

(I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are of my own.)

Daddy Hugs by Karen Katz

Got this book as part of our first Father's Day with our daughter and it is also her first book.

She is 6 months old and although she can't read yet her daddy enjoys sitting down and reading it to her and teaching her how to turn the very easy thick pages.

The colors are very vivid and inviting and she smiles every time she looks at it. Plus it gives us more excuses to hug her a million times more!

*UPDATE* Lilly is now almost a year old and she is crawling everywhere now! She knows exactly where this book is now and turns the pages with ease. She points at the pictures and even leans down to kiss the book. Great purchase for anyone needing to gift for a baby shower or a baby!

HoneyAKE iPhone 6 Plus Anti-Slip and Shockproof Case

This case turned out to be better quality then I originally thought it was going to be.

The soft flexible rubber with the grooves really helps the phone not be slippery and cling to most surfaces. The only hard shell part is around the rim which makes sense since whenever I've dropped phones in the past they always hit somewhere on the side or the corner spots. I have yet to drop my phone so I have no idea if it actually absorbs shock and protects like it claims.

Very slim and lightweight and looks stylish on the phone. Fits the phone perfectly and is easy to take on and off.

The only drawback I have ran into is the case is to thick around the plug area where you would put the headphones in or an aux cord so you actually have to take the case off to use those things. I found that kind of annoying since I don't like my phone to be unprotected when carrying it around to listen to music.

Threadrock Happy First Father's Day Daddy Infant Bodysuit

I know I am super late posting this but I got this for Lilly to wear on her first Father's Day and I loved it. It is technically for boys but looked just as cute on her. I chose to get it in this color because it's one of her daddy's favorite colors but they come in a variety of other colors. This is the Turquoise one.

She was 6 months in this picture and the size was for a 6 month old. As you can see, there is still a lot of wiggle room for her and I did use it over and over again just to wear around the house and to bed for about 2 more months.

The material of the onesie is very high-quality. It's soft, stretchy, and stitched perfectly without any flaws. It is ribbed. I washed and dried it on low without any shrinkage issues. The dye on the shirt does not rub off over time or wash off in the washer. The letters on the onesie do not peel neither.

I will be for sure purchasing more baby clothing from them in the future. I am in love with all their other cute onesies that say stuff on Amazon.
